Schools must be closed in 2010 on Saturdays and Sundays, and on the following days (Not all of which are Public Holidays):

Queen's Birthday                - Monday 7 June

Labour Day                        - Monday 25 October

Christchurch Show Day       - Friday12 November

Christmas Day                    - Saturday 25 December*

Boxing Day                        - Sunday 26 December*

* Holidays that fall during term breaks.

There is no extra school holiday taken because Waitangi Day and ANZAC Day fall at the weekend.
